AI & research
From a question to a contribution.
Connect the question, its sources and the next investigation. Keep the research record yours to review.
Give the investigation context
Choose Claude or an OpenAI model, then give Felix a question or branch to investigate. Felix reads selected graph context and source passages, can reason across multiple turns, and returns a proposed research contribution linked to that context.
Inspect the evidence, add or exclude the contribution, and choose where to continue. A contribution enters the research record through your decision.
The models behind the work
The selected model determines the research provider. For a Claude model, relevant prompts, selected graph context and source passages are sent to Anthropic. For an OpenAI model, they are sent to OpenAI.
We also use Claude to design and refine Noexis AI’s research canvas and Felix experience. The access and walkthrough form does not use model inference. See Subprocessors and the Privacy Policy for data handling.
Review what the model gives you
AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Check the original sources, inspect the method, and decide whether the evidence supports the conclusion. A link between a claim and a source is not proof that the source supports it.
Noexis AI provides research assistance. It does not provide medical, financial or legal advice, or replace a qualified professional’s judgement. For professional or consequential decisions, obtain qualified review and disclose AI assistance where your work requires it.
Separate the observation from the explanation
An observation, a calculation and a causal explanation are different claims. Lower capacity retention in a hotter temperature group, for example, does not establish a degradation mechanism. The sample battery question uses example measurements to keep that distinction visible.
Keep those distinctions in your own research. A convincing answer still needs evidence and a method you can inspect.
